On November 22, in Bishkek, as part of the 5th meeting of the Ministers and Heads of Diaspora Institutions of the Organization of Turkic States member countries Abzal Saparbekuly, President of the Otandastar Qory, met with representatives of Kazakh cultural organizations in Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, Mr. Saparbekuly discussed events initiated by the Otandastar Qory this year, including meetings with Kazakhs in Europe in Germany and representatives of Kazakh cultural organizations in Russia in Moscow, The Kurultai of Kazakhs in Mongolia. In the cities of Barnaul and Kosagash district, where Kazakhs of the Altai region are concentrated, a concert of the Kazakh folk instruments orchestra took place. The head of the Otandastar Qory also shared information about the "Forum Otandastar" in Astana, attended by more than 200 Kazakhs from over 30 countries worldwide. The Forum addressed current issues of Kazakhs abroad, ways to address them, and the prospects for the development of the Otandastar Qory's activities.

In turn, the attendees expressed interest in obtaining documents related to the "kandas" status, educational projects for schoolchildren and youth. Discussions focused on the opening of a Kazakh school in Bishkek, allocation of grants for admission to higher educational institutions in Kazakhstan, simplification of obtaining the "Ata Zhol" card, and the delivery of children's literature. It was noted that interesting educational events related to learning the Kazakh language, acquaintance with national traditions and games, mobile photography training, startups, and more were held in summer youth camps in Kazakhstan, generating considerable interest among Kazakh youth in Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, the attendees acknowledged that the Otandastar Qory has recently organized new creative projects. They also expressed gratitude for the artistic and educational literature in the Kazakh language presented to the Abay Center. Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan R. Zhoshybayev was present at the meeting.

To conclude the meeting, Mr. Saparbekuly awarded commendation medals and congratulatory awards from the Otandastar Qory to Kyrgyz citizens who made a special contribution to the development of friendship between the two countries.

The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere.
