OTANDASTAR FORUM – 2023: Kazakhstan and Compatriots: on the Way to Achieving a Common Goal

"It is our sacred duty to unite the ethnic kazakhs around the world in our homeland"  (President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev). The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s message in National Kurultai held in Turkestan, 2023 "We will establish close relations with our ethnic Kazakhs abroad and strengthen spiritual ties. This issue is under my control", demonstrates the need to further improve the efficiency of the country's relations with compatriots abroad.
As a part of the message, at the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the non-profit joint stock company "Otandastar Qory" is organizing a meeting of Kazakhs living abroad "Otandastar Forum" in Kazakhstan.
This Forum is a platform with new format, where ways to improve relations with ethnic Kazakhs abroad and their contribution to the sustainable development of the country will be discussed.
The Forum is expected to be attended by more than 200 participants including leaders of Kazakh organizations abroad, active and well-known people, as well as prominent figures of national science, education, culture, sports, business, media, politics, public organizations and other spheres.
The purpose of the Forum is to discuss issues of mutual cooperation with Kazakh organizations abroad; familiarization with the state policy and political and economic reforms of the country at a new stage, as well as modern trends concerning national spirituality; Kazakhstan's policy in support of Kazakhs abroad, ensuring Kazakh youth abroad to get quality education in Kazakhstan and realize their abilities, and also informing the ethnic Kazakhs about the support measures taken by the state.
Within the framework of the forum, sessions will be held on the topics "The role of ethnic Kazakhs in the development of the country", "The intellectual potential of compatriots is a driver of promoting national values", "The Kazakh language in the XXI century and today's opportunities", "Media and modern trends", presentation of new projects of the NJSC "Otandastar Qory" and the final session of the Forum “Taikazan”.
In this regard, we invite representatives of the country's mass media, journalists to take a part in the "Otandastar Forum".
Only participants who have registered and received an invitation letter are able to join in the event, due to the limit to the number of participants
