On October 1, 2020, together with the Otandastar Foundation and the World Association of Kazakhs, with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Abay cultural and business house (CDD) was opened in the city of Tashkent.
The event, which was held in an online format on the ZOOM platform, was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erkin Uisimbayev, Advisor to the Head of the Department for Work with Diaspora of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Tokkulov, Chairman of the Kazakh National Cultural Center Serikbay Usenov of Uzbekistan, Ruslan Dyusenova, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan, as well as leaders and representatives of the Otandastar Foundation and the World Association of Kazakhs, etc.
Within the framework of the event, a presentation of the cultural and business house, which will operate in Tashkent, took place. They also discussed the implementation of joint projects aimed at supporting the cultural, business and educational activities of the local Kazakh diaspora.
Recall that the cultural and business house "Abay" in Tashkent was opened within the framework of the "Otandastar Foundation" project "Abay uyi", which is being implemented in order to unite all Kazakh cultural and business organizations of the world into a single network. The main goal of the KDV is to unite the most active Kazakh regional public associations abroad, covering the interests of all foreign compatriots in the fields of cultural, humanitarian, educational business, media and youth cooperation.
