In the city of Antalya (Turkey), a park named after the great poet of the Turkic world, composer, Kazakh thinker Abay Kunanbay was opened.
As part of the celebration of the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbay, on the initiative of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkey, the consulate in Antalya, the Association of Friendship and Culture of the Peoples of Kazakhstan and Eurasia, the park of the city of Antalya was named after Abai. A marble plaque dedicated to Abai is installed in the park.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkey Abzal Saparbekovich, the mayor of the Muratpasha district of Antalya Umit Uysal, representatives of the World Association of Kazakhs and the Otandastar Foundation Latifa Kuchembayeva, Karlygash Kozhamuratova, Kozhamuratova, the chairman of the Republican People's Party in Antalya Nusret Bayar and the deputy chairman , members of the Association of Friendship and Culture of the Peoples of Kazakhstan and Eurasia, local residents and the media.
During the meeting, a small concert program was organized, where the famous poems and songs of Abai were sounded, books were presented.
