On September 22, 2020, nao "Otandastar Foundation" together with the world Association of Kazakhs with the support of the ministries of information and public development, foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the Omsk region of the Russian Federation held the Grand opening of the Kazakh cultural and business house "Abai Uii" in Omsk.

The event was attended by Vice-Minister of information and social development of Kazakhstan Marat Azilkhanov, representatives of the Ministry of foreign Affairs, Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Omsk, and also heads of NAO "Fund Otandastar", representatives of the public Association "the Kazakhs of Omsk" and others.

During the event, a presentation of the Kazakh cultural and business house was held, and issues of implementing joint projects aimed at supporting the cultural, business and educational activities of the Kazakh community in the Russian Federation were discussed.

During the event, the goals and objectives of the Kazakh cultural and business houses "Abai Uii" were announced to promote and popularize the cultural heritage of Kazakhs, strengthen business and humanitarian ties with compatriots abroad.

Also, by the end of this year, nao "Otandastar Foundation" plans to open 4 more Kazakh cultural and business houses "Abai Uii" in Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek), Uzbekistan (Tashkent), Germany (Berlin), Turkey (Istanbul).
