Kazakh cultural and business houses will be created in a number of countries

Aida Balayeva, Minister of Information and Social Development, informed about the measures taken to develop ties with the foreign diaspora and support the repatriates who arrived in Kazakhstan during a reporting meeting in front of the population, which took place at the site of the Central Communications Service.

Thus, according to the head of the relevant ministry, a number of projects are being implemented jointly with the Otandastar Foundation, within the framework of which, in the countries with the largest number of representatives of the Kazakh diaspora (China, Russia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Germany, Turkey and the United States), Kazakh cultural and business at home. There will be consolidated cultural centers of Abai, business houses "Atameken", the Association of Kazakh-language media "Atazhurt", the network of youth clubs "Kazakh Eli" and other Kazakh public structures abroad.

For reference: 31 Kazakh classrooms have been opened online to study the Kazakh language in 12 countries. This will cover more than 2.5 thousand children with education in their native language.

As A. Balayeva noted, for ethnic Kazakhs who returned to the country, by the end of this year, the procedure for providing services on the principle of "one window" will be facilitated. The number of documents required for them has been halved, and the processing time has been reduced from 6 to 3 months.

In addition, according to the minister, a set of measures has been developed for the socio-economic support of compatriots, including measures for the adaptation of migrants in the new environment, provision of housing, employment, etc. These measures will be included in the existing state programs.
