In the House of Friendship of Nur-Sultan, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan held an online conference for the National Dombra Day with the participation of well-known statesmen and public figures, cultural figures, representatives of diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan and Kazakh diasporas abroad.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman - Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Doctor of Philology, Professor Myrzatay Zholdasbekov, Coordinator of the Zhyr Ortalygy project, Vice President of the Otandastar Foundation Magauiya Sarbasov, Kyushi Zhangali Zhuzbay and other public and cultural figures members of ethnocultural associations, representatives of associations of Kazakh diasporas and employees of Kazakh embassies, as well as talents from Russia, South Africa, France, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other countries.

This year, National Dombra Day in Kazakhstan is celebrated for the third year. This holiday was established in 2018 by the First President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. It was decided to celebrate this holiday every year on the first Sunday in July.

During the event, a flash mob was organized, where talents from different parts of the world, representatives of different ethnic groups simultaneously performed Kurmangazy's kyuy "Balbyrauyn" on a dombra.
