On March 12, 2020, a regular meeting of the Public Commission at the Otandastar Foundation was held. Within the framework of the event, measures to stimulate repatriation, negative conditions in the provision of textbooks, fiction and other literature to ethnic Kazakhs abroad, housing issues for migrants from abroad in the villages of Nurly kosh (Krasny Yar) of the Akmola region and the East Kazakhstan region were discussed.

The decisions made will be submitted for consideration by the interdepartmental commission for the development of cultural and humanitarian ties with compatriots abroad under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
