Today, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, with the support of the university administration, hosted a "Public Lecture" organized by the "Otandastar Qory" NJSC for students and trainees. The event is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing the professional qualifications of future specialists.
The lecture was attended by students majoring in International Relations and Regional Studies at ENU, as well as trainees currently undergoing professional internships at "Otandastar Qory" — bringing together over 50 participants.
During the event, prominent masters of domestic diplomacy and experienced statesmen addressed the audience:
— Kalybek Koblandin – Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Advisor to "Otandastar Qory" NJSC, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia (2013–2019);
— Yerzhan Mukash – Deputy Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Sultanate of Oman (2014–2019).
The guest speakers shared their extensive life and professional experiences, providing inside insights into current issues in international relations, contemporary trends in diplomacy, and key directions for developing engagement with compatriots abroad. Future diplomats and political scientists engaged in an open dialogue, asking questions and exchanging views with the speakers.
