The office of the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company "Otandastar Qory" (hereinafter referred to as the Otandastar Qory) hosted an official working meeting between representatives of the Otandastar Qory, Lee Myung-jae, Secretary of the Overseas Koreans Agency (OKA) of the Republic of Korea, and a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Kazakhstan, represented by Ji Haesun, Head of the Consular Section, and Kim Il-jung, Head of the Political Section.

During the event, Alibek Zhurkadam, Vice President of the Otandastar Qory, familiarized the honored guests with the key areas of the organization's activities and presented detailed information on the strategic projects and programs currently being implemented. The parties exchanged experiences in developing diaspora policy, strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties, and supporting compatriots abroad.

It is worth noting that last year, an official memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between the Otandastar Qory and the Overseas Koreans Agency of the Republic of Korea. Within the framework of the agreements reached, bilateral ties are developing on a systemic basis today.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the high potential of the bilateral strategic partnership, expressing confidence that joint initiatives will continue to yield positive results and that relations will continue to deepen.

Furthermore, representatives of the Embassy of Korea expressed special gratitude to the Otandastar Qory for its active participation and insightful report at the seminar "Diaspora Policy and Historical Heritage: The Future of Korean-Kazakhstani Cooperation through the Prism of the Association of Ethnic Koreans," organized by the Embassy.

Following the meeting, the parties discussed a plan of joint activities for the upcoming period and agreed to increase mutual interaction. At the conclusion of the meeting, in accordance with established national tradition, a special memorable gift was presented to the honored guest from the Republic of Korea as a sign of Kazakh hospitality.
