On March 26, 2026, a delegation from the NJSC Otandastar Qory, as part of an official working visit to Mongolia, held a formal meeting with Serikbol Rakhmetuly, Head of the Education Department of Bayan-Ulgii Province.

During the meeting, Otandastar Qory representatives expressed their gratitude to the Education Department for the high-level organization of the Kazakhstan Universities' Education Fair and the successful meeting with active local ethnic Kazakh (Kandastar) youth. In turn, Mr. Rakhmetuly emphasized the significance of these events for the region's youth and expressed confidence that such educational fairs would become a long-standing tradition.

As part of the discussion, A. Ibragimkyzy, Senior Specialist of the Education Department, proposed the signing of a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation between Otandastar Qory and the Education Department to formalize and strengthen bilateral ties. Otandastar Qory representatives supported this initiative and suggested that, in addition to physical outreach fairs, online education fairs be held regularly to ensure continuous information accessibility.

As a reminder, a large-scale exhibition of Kazakhstan’s higher education institutions took place on March 25-26 at the Music and Drama Theater of Bayan-Ulgii Province. Representatives from 10 leading universities of Kazakhstan participated in the event, providing prospective students with comprehensive information on admission requirements and available benefits.

This significant initiative was successfully implemented with the joint support of the NJSC Otandastar Qory and the Education Department of Bayan-Ulgii Province.
