On March 5, 2026, representatives of the "Otandastar Qory" NJSC held an online meeting with the staff of the "Qazaq Eli" magazine, published in the Republic of Türkiye.
The meeting was attended by Didar Bolat, Managing Director; Kalybek Koblandin, Project Coordinator; and Alzhan Sharifov, Press Secretary on behalf of the Society. From the "Qazaq Eli" magazine, Serkan Dinçtürk, the magazine's founder; editors Ertolkyn Gairetullah and Nurgul Berikbolova; board member Bayram Ataç; and Dinara Kozhabayeva, the magazine's representative in Kazakhstan, participated.
During the meeting, issues of establishing and strengthening informational ties with the Kazakh community in Türkiye, developing cooperation in the media sphere, and implementing joint projects in the cultural and humanitarian direction were discussed. In particular, within the framework of the "Uly Dala" project, the possibilities of publishing works written about the Kazakhs of Türkiye, the potential for translating books written in other languages into the Kazakh language, and the publication of new editions and materials of the magazine on the Society's information resources were considered.
Furthermore, proposals were made to include electronic versions of the magazine in the Intellectual Fund of Overseas Kazakhs and to exchange information about the activities and projects of the KATEAD organization.
During the meeting, issues of widely promoting online Kazakh language courses for the Kazakh community in Türkiye, delivering educational tools in the Kazakh-Turkish language, and supporting the participation of Kazakh children from Türkiye in the "Jas Qazaq" summer camp were also discussed.
Additionally, the possibility of holding a "Journalists' Forum" in Kazakhstan for foreign Kazakh-language mass media, supporting the participation of magazine correspondents in international and Kazakhstani media competitions, and organizing professional development courses for the magazine staff were considered.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation in the informational and cultural-humanitarian directions, implement joint projects, and collectively support initiatives aimed at the foreign Kazakh audience.
