The Kazakh Cultural Center in Brussels hosted a literary and poetic evening dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Kazakh poet, Mukagali Makataev.

The event brought together Belgian art enthusiasts and members of the Kazakhstani community living in Brussels to pay tribute to the poet's legacy. During the evening, Makataev’s poems were recited in Kazakh, French, English, and Dutch, introducing his work to a broad international audience.

A highlight of the event was the performance by Wendy Mrazek, a Belgian citizen, who recited the poem "Dialogue of Love" (Makhabbat Dialogy) in the Kazakh language, earning special acclaim from the audience.

The literary evening stands as a significant cultural milestone in promoting Kazakh spirituality and national heritage on the global stage.
