In order to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation in the field of diaspora policy, on September 25, 2024, representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) – the UN Migration Agency, together with JSC Otandastar Qory, held a seminar for employees on the topic "Assisting Central Asian governments in implementing the Global Compact for Migration (GCM).

The seminar program included the following sessions:

– Introduction to the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration;
– Presentation of the Mobility Tracking Matrix (MTM) and migration studies;
– Discussion of international cooperation through the Almaty Process;
– Interactive exercise on the Global Compact for Migration.
