The winners of the "ҮРКЕР - 2024" National Journalism Awards have been announced!

Torgyn Ashenova, Editor-in-Chief of the "Ombysy Qazaqtary" newspaper (Russia), has won in the category "Best Article on Kazakhstan Published in International Media."

Four compatriots from abroad made it to the shortlist in this category:

– Dinara Kozhabayeva – "Qazaq Eli" magazine (Turkey);

– Aigul Teshebaeva – "Nurly Zhol" newspaper (Uzbekistan);

– Torgyn Ashenova – "Ombysy Qazaqtary" newspaper (Russia);

– Rakhmet Suragan – Bayan-Ulgii Regional Radio (Mongolia).
