Kazakh judoka competing in the -66kg category wins the bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as reported by Olympic.kz.

The athlete advanced to the semifinals but was defeated by William Lima from Brazil. Nevertheless, he continued to compete for a podium and managed to reach the bronze medal contest.

For the bronze medal bout, he faced Buncic Strahinja from Serbia.

Gusman gained a point and secured the victory in the match.

Gusman’s medal marked the third medal for Kazakhstan at Paris 2024. Prior to his win, judoka Yeldos Smetov won the gold medal, while Alexander Le and Islam Satpayev claimed the third place in shooting.
