Kazakhstani gymnast Nariman Kurbanov won the silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as reported by Olympic.kz.
The athlete successfully performed in the finals of the men’s pommel horse. Nariman scored 15.433, guaranteeing him the second place in the program.
The winner of the event was Rhys McClenaghan from Ireland, scoring a total of 15.533, while the athlete from the USA, Stephen Nedoroscik, finished with the bronze medal with 15.300.
It was Nariman's first appearance at the Olympic Games, and his achievement marked the first success in the history of gymnastics for Kazakhstan at the Olympics.
