Unified contact center for providing students with places in dormitories

13 August, 2024

Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akerke Abylaikhan and Student Ombudsman of Almaty Adilkhan Tolepbergen discussed questions received by the unified contact center, which provides assistance to students on issues of accommodation in dormitories.

The contact center was created to promptly resolve questions that students have during the search for and check-in to dormitories, as well as to provide information on available places, explanation of living conditions and check-in rules.

It should be noted that students are advised to first contact the situation center of their university, whose contacts are listed on the official websites and social networks of the university. In case of refusal or failure to provide the service, you can contact the unified contact center. The unified contact center operates around the clock, which allows students to receive the necessary advice and support at any time of the day. Contact center employees undergo special training in order to respond to student requests as efficiently and promptly as possible, while providing a high level of service.

The management of higher education institutions and dormitory administrations actively interact with the contact center to resolve emerging issues and improve students' living conditions.
The single contact center is ready 24/7 to help create comfortable and safe living conditions for students, as well as to ensure their social protection and support during their studies.
