In 2024, the Digital Family Card helped more than 195 thousand people

Thanks to the introduction of the Digital Family Card (hereinafter referred to as the DFC), since the beginning of 2024, more than 447.8 thousand people have received SMS for the proactive provision of public services. At the same time, 195.6 thousand people took advantage of the opportunity to receive benefits or payments without an application.

The Digital Family Card is formed on the basis of data from all existing information systems of government agencies. To date, it has accumulated information on 20 million citizens of Kazakhstan, or more than 6 million families.

The main goal of introducing the DFC is to ensure equal access of Kazakhstanis to the state support system. In this regard, the Social Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan designates the Digital Family Card as a tool for determining medium-term and long-term tasks and directions of social policy. The DFC is also a daily "electronic notifier" of citizens about their rights to receive one or another type of guaranteed state support, depending on their social status.

Currently, the Center for Social Support gives Kazakhstanis who are entitled to receive state support measures the opportunity to apply for 10 types of benefits and social payments without any applications: social payment in case of loss of ability to work; social payment in case of loss of job; social payment or benefit for the loss of a breadwinner; benefit for a parent (guardian) raising a child with a disability; disability benefit; benefit for large families; benefit for mothers with many children awarded with the pendants "Altyn Alka" and "Kumis Alka"; targeted social assistance, as well as a one-time payment for burial.Automatic notifications about the possibility of receiving pension payments, the expiration date of the assigned/extended "kandas" status and employment measures for unemployed persons have also been implemented through the CCS.

When establishing the right to receive state support measures, the potential recipient is sent an SMS notification from the unified contact center 1414.

The citizen who received the SMS must respond with consent. The application and assignment of social benefits or payments will be made automatically, with subsequent transfer of funds to the recipient's bank account.
