To do this, you don’t even have to sign up for special courses or go to a tutor. Everyone has access to books, films, and multimedia resources in the Kazakh language, which has significantly expanded recently, and the digital environment is filled with relevant content every day. Take public libraries, for example, where book collections have been replenished with tens of thousands of new publications over the past few years. These include translations of famous foreign writers, classical literature, and works by modern domestic authors who contribute to the promotion of the Abai language. And television broadcasts favorite TV series, feature films, and animated films with subtitles or in Kazakh.

“A wide selection of sources makes the process of learning the language exciting,” says Moldir Akhmetova, chief specialist of the regional department of culture and language development.
According to her, the issue of learning the Kazakh language is becoming more and more relevant every year. And the subject of study is not just a means of communication, but also a door to the world of the people’s culture and an opportunity to change your own life. Moreover, in the context of globalization and the growth of national self-awareness, mastery of the state language acquires special significance. It is enough to imagine for a moment the near future, when the language of Abai will become an integral part of all spheres of our life. Of course, those who master it will be one step ahead. They will be able to communicate freely, work in various industries and participate in the public life of the country.– One of the most effective ways to learn a language is complete immersion in the language environment, – says Moldir Akhmetova. – It has already been proven that children perceive the language much easier if they hear it daily in natural conditions, and not only in classes. This can happen both in the family and at various events through communication with native speakers.

– Immersion in the Kazakh-language environment, whether it is communication with native speakers or participation in national holidays, helps not only to master the language, but also to love it. There is an opinion: you can consider that you have mastered the language if you understand the humor of its native speakers, because it is often based on some references, wordplay. It is simply impossible to achieve this without immersion in the language environment, – Moldir Akhmetova is sure.
To do this, first of all, you should create such an environment at home. You need to try to speak Kazakh in the family, even if it is not always easy. You can start with simple phrases, gradually increasing your vocabulary. It is important that children hear the Kazakh language in natural conditions. In this way, they will gradually get used to the language, and the adults themselves will expand their knowledge base.

- You can use multimedia resources. Today, everyone has access to books, cartoons, songs, and games. Using them together helps develop passive understanding. If there are no native speakers in the family, try to have children communicate with those who speak Kazakh well. If possible, it is best to enroll your child in a Kazakh kindergarten or school. This will ensure stable and deep immersion in the necessary environment, says Moldir Akhmetova. The specialist gave another useful piece of advice for parents - it is important to maintain children's interest in Kazakh culture, teach them to respect and appreciate cultural heritage.

- The child will understand the importance of language as an integral part of the national culture when he or she begins to participate in traditional events, understands the meaning of customs and holidays, - notes Moldir Akhmetova. - And it is not difficult to interest him or her, because it is no secret that today a significant part of our lives, including education, work, communication and entertainment, takes place on the Internet. At the same time, it is important to note that Kazakh-language content is also actively developing and taking its place in the digital world. For children who do not speak Kazakh, this is not just an opportunity, but also a vital necessity - to stay on the same wavelength with their compatriots, to absorb the national culture and language through all available electronic resources.
In addition, the development of resources in the Abai language opens the door for those who want to occupy still vacant niches. Today, there is a huge potential for creating new content - from educational programs and lessons in the Kazakh language to entertaining videos and blogs. Young people can actively participate in content creation, developing their audience and at the same time contributing to the development of the Kazakh digital space. This is a unique opportunity to become pioneers in the creation of high-quality Kazakh-language.
