Neo Nomad Visa opens up new opportunities for travelers from around the world. It allows foreign tourists to remain mobile, work remotely in their foreign company and live in Kazakhstan for a year. To obtain a new type of visa B12-1, you must contact the embassy or consular offices of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad.

Foreigners who want to combine their work with traveling in Kazakhstan can apply for a Neo Nomad Visa. To do this, you must provide several documents to the nearest foreign institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

Bank statement for the last 6 months confirming a monthly income of over 3,000 US dollars
Tax return issued by the competent authority of the country of citizenship
Certificate of no criminal record issued by the authority of the country of citizenship or permanent residence
Medical insurance for the duration of the visa
Invitation from a travel company in Kazakhstan (not required for citizens of 48 countries)

The process of issuing a Neo Nomad Visa takes no more than 5 working days. The visa is issued for up to 1 year and can be extended. Family members of the main applicant can also receive a visa.
It is important to note that this visa does not provide for the possibility of employment in Kazakhstan. In accordance with Article 216 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the holder of the Neo Nomad Visa has no obligation to pay taxes in Kazakhstan, since the source of his income is outside the country.
