The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, is attending the Bett UK 2026 international exhibition in the United Kingdom. During the visit, the Minister is also conducting a series of high-level meetings with representatives from leading universities, research centres, and global technology corporations.

A key highlight of the first day was the Minister’s participation in Bett UK 2026 – Leading EdTech, one of the world's premier platforms for educational technology. Each year, the exhibition brings together government officials, educational institutions, tech companies, and experts from dozens of countries to discuss the future of education, digital transformation, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), and innovative learning solutions.
On January 21, an official opening ceremony for the Kazakhstan National Pavilion was held in London, organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The pavilion serves as a strategic platform to showcase the priority development areas of Kazakhstan’s higher and postgraduate education systems. Key focus areas include the digitalization of academic processes, the implementation of AI-based solutions, the advancement of scientific research, and the expansion of international academic partnerships.
Nine Kazakhstani higher education institutions are participating in the pavilion’s program, presenting their academic curricula, research projects, and potential for joint educational and scientific initiatives with foreign partners. The exposition highlights the high standards of Kazakhstan's universities, their academic and research capabilities, and their readiness for active engagement with the global community.

The exhibition features plenary sessions, thematic discussions, and presentations of cutting-edge EdTech developments, alongside business meetings between state agencies, universities, and global technology leaders. The participation of the Kazakhstani delegation at Bett UK 2026 underscores the country's strategic commitment to digital education, the active adoption of AI technologies, and the promotion of innovative educational models. This engagement contributes to strengthening international cooperation, enhancing the competitiveness of Kazakhstani universities, and positioning Kazakhstan as a regional leader in education and digital technology.
