We are with ethnic Kazakh youths!

"Otandastar Qory" under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Kazakh Agricultural Research University named after S.Seifullin organised international basketball tournament "Otandastar cup" on November 26 in the capital city among ethnic Kazakh youths studying and working in their historical homeland.

Deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galiaskar Tolendiuly, Amangeldi Gabdylkarimuly, Deputy of the Mazhilis of Parliament Bolat Bakbergenuly, President of the Otandastar Qory Abzal Saparbekuly and Member of the Board of the Kazakh Scientific Research Agrarian University named after S.Seifullin, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Zhainagul Aitmaganbetkizi, expressed their best wishes to the athletes.

📌The main purpose of the tournament is to establish friendship among ethnic Kazakh youths studying in their historical and ethnic homeland, promote a healthy lifestyle, and identify the strongest athletes on the basketball court.

Approximately 200 ethnic kazakh students from foreign countries such as Uzbekistan, Mongolia and China competed in the traditional tournament, which is being held for the third time this year. The participants consisted of teams of boys and team of girls aged 16-25.

Total 16 boys and 6 girls teams have participated. 6 teams were selected as the best and received a special certificate and a cash prize.

🏆 Results of the boys' team:

1st place: "IMS Astana"/Mongolia - Eurasian National University;

2nd place: "Region 14"/Mongolia- Young people studying and starting a business in Astana,Ekibastuz, Pavlodar

3rd place: "Hovd"/Mongolia- ENU, Astana Medical University;

🏆 Results of the girls' team:

1st place: "Miami"/Mongolia and Uzbekistan girls' combined team;

2nd place: "Jas qazaq"/Mongolia-ENU, Astana IT University;

3rd place: "Eagle"/Mongolian-Eurasian National University;

In addition, the winners of the "Best Athlete" nomination were determined:
"Best athlete" / among girls - Aruzhan Kaken from Uzbekistan;

"Best athlete" / among boys - Umbet Askerkhan from Mongolia;

The president of NJSC "Otandastar Qory" Abzal Saparbek, gifted TICKETS to participate in a project of the Otandastar Qory, and congratulated them on their well-deserved success👏👏👏
