The Kazakh cultural and business house "Abai" was opened in Berlin

On November 1, 2020, nao "Otandastar Foundation" together with the world Association of Kazakhs with the support of the ministries of information and public development, foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan held the Grand opening of the Kazakh cultural and business house "Abay" in Berlin (Germany) in an online format.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on development of interethnic relations of the Ministry of information and social development of Kazakhstan Yerkin Bisembaev, Head of Department on work with the Kazakh Diaspora of the Department of consular service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs Mukhtar From, the cultural attaché of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Germany Kuanysh Amirgaliev, Vice President NAO "Fund Otandastar" Magauiya of Sarbasov, Director of the German-Kazakh society Nurtazinova Galina, as well as Bundestag deputies, representatives of the Kazakh community in Germany, etc.

Within the framework of the event, a presentation of the Abay cultural and business house was held, where issues of implementing joint projects aimed at supporting the cultural, business and educational activities of the Kazakh community in Germany were discussed.

"Otandastar Foundation" continues to work on opening a network of cultural and business houses "Abay" abroad. Previously, such KDD "Abay" were opened in Omsk (Russia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Istanbul (Turkey). By the end of 2020, it is planned to open another cultural and business house "Abay" in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).
