27 October 2020 held a session of the Public Commission under NAO "Fund Otandastar".

The event was attended by the Deputy of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Committee Murat Baktiyaruly, Deputy akim of Akmola region Malgazhdar Tadeev, Chairman of the Committee for land management of the Ministry of agriculture gulzhakhan Bimendina, as well as public figures, deputies of Parliament, representatives of ministries of foreign Affairs, information and social development, labour and social protection of population, local Executive bodies, etc.

The public Commission acts as a dialogue platform where issues of providing comprehensive support in the implementation of the state policy to support compatriots abroad, adaptation and integration who have arrived in the historical Homeland of kandastar are discussed.

During the meeting, the issues of privatization of houses built for kandastar in the village "Nurly Kosh" (Krasny Yar) of Akmola region, availability of free land plots suitable for agricultural use in the regions were touched upon. They also discussed issues related to the activation of state policy regarding the relocation of kandastars to the Northern regions within the framework of existing state programs and much more.

Following the results of the Public Commission, recommendations were made on measures to support compatriots abroad and their voluntary relocation to their historical Homeland.

Recall that at the 5th world Kurultai of Kazakhs, held in the capital of Kazakhstan in 2017, the Leader of the Nation N. Nazarbayev outlined a number of specific instructions aimed at supporting compatriots abroad and arriving repatriates to their historical Homeland as part of the public modernization of Kazakhstan.
