On behalf of the language policy Committee of the Ministry of culture and sports, the national scientific and practical center "Til-Kazyna" named after Shaisultan Shayakhmetov published an information and educational book "Atameken" under the item "development and release of information and reference materials for familiarization with the Holy places of Kazakhstan" of the action plan for supporting ethnic Kazakhs abroad for 2018-2022.

The goal is to ensure that our compatriots abroad know about the life of the country, do not break away from the people, and that sacred places and sacred objects located in different regions of the Republic are considered as a single complex in order to give our compatriots abroad a complete picture of Atameken,-say the authors of the book.

Just like" the name of the Earth is a letter of history", the continuity of the past and present is reflected in the names of the land – water inhabited by the people. Each name has its own story, the reason why each Holy place becomes a Kya. Such sanctuaries are not only the pride of a certain region, but also sacred places of national significance, a secret chronicle that tells about the history, the origins of life, and the thoughts of generations who inhabited the country. These questions were taken into account when compiling the collection-says the leading researcher of the Department of terminology and onomastics of the center, candidate of philological Sciences saya Aganasovna.

The book contains information and reference materials on specially evaluated natural heritage sites in accordance with five criteria used in determining sacred sites, and the second book provides information about archaeological sites and medieval urban centers in the country.
