July 13 will be declared the Day of Mourning in Kazakhstan. This was stated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev.

“Unfortunately, the disease continues to claim the lives of Kazakhstanis. Behind the official reports lie the tragedies of hundreds of families. Someone has lost a father, mother, brother, sister, son and daughter. I express my condolences to the families and friends of the deceased. This is a common tragedy for all of us. Therefore, I made a decision to declare July 13 the Day of National Mourning for Kazakhstanis, who became victims of the pandemic. I am sure that each of us, wherever he is on this day, will honor the memory of those who have left, ”said Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, addressing the republican TV channels.
