The Otandastar reading room has been opened in the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The opening of the new hall took place on the initiative of the Otandastar Foundation, the World Association of Kazakhs and the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the event, the books "Kazakh Alemi" - "The World of Kazakhs" were also presented.

It should be noted that the Otandastar digital library has been created at the National Academic Library. It presents foreign literature about the Kazakh diaspora and the works of our compatriots.

Currently, the library fund has more than 2000 books. At the moment, all literature has been digitized on the technical platform "National Electronic Library of Kazakhstan". This will allow our compatriots to read any book from anywhere in the world.
