The regional quota for the admission of Kandas and migrants for 2025 has been approved
- By the order of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the regional quota for the reception of Kandas and migrants for 2025 is set at 9,653 people, which is 170 people more than last year.

- The purpose of this order is to optimise the settlement of Kandas and migrants in the regions determined by the Government of the RK. In 2025, the regional quota is distributed as follows:

- For Kandas: Pavlodar region. - 1,056 people, Akmola region. - 285 people, East Kazakhstan region. - 269 persons, Abai region - 244 persons, North-Kazakhstan region. - 175 people, Kostanay region. - 150 persons, Atyrau region, Atyrau obl. - 100 people, West-Kazakhstan region. - 30 persons;

- for resettlers: Pavlodar region. - 3,050 people, North-Kazakhstan region. - 2,969 people, Kostanay region. - 535 people, East-Kazakhstan region. - 372 people, Abai region - 255 people, Ulytau region - 125 people, Karaganda region - 38 people.

- Persons included in the regional quota for receiving Kandas and migrants will be provided with state support measures in the form of:
- – relocation subsidies - a lump sum payment of 70 MRP to each family member;
- – subsidies to cover the cost of renting (leasing) housing and paying for utilities, which are paid monthly in the amount of 15 to 30 MRP per family;
- – subsidies for employers assisting in resettlement in the amount of 400 MRP.
- – Referral for short-term vocational training;
- – assistance in finding employment or developing entrepreneurial initiatives;
- – issuance of economic mobility certificates for the purchase of housing.

- * In 2025, 1 monthly calculation index (MCI) will be 3932 tenge.

- Let us remind you that in 2024, more than 19.7 thousand ethnic Kazakhs returned to their historical homeland and received the status of Kandas. In total, from 1991 to 1 January 2025, 1 million 148 thousand ethnic Kazakhs returned to their historical homeland.
