WINNERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL BOOK PUBLISHING COMPETITION "ULY DALA 2024" ANNOUNCED
- The Otandastar Qory Non-Profit Joint Stock Company (Organizer) and the "Writers' Union of Kazakhstan" Republican Public Association announce the winners of the "Uly Dala 2024" international competition, which was launched with the goal of publishing historical, literary works, and scientific research related to the history of migration, life, traditions, literature, culture, and art of ethnic Kazakhs who have resettled in various parts of the world.

- Applications were accepted until June 1, 2024. A total of 22 works were submitted. A panel of experts, consisting of renowned poets, writers, scholars, and public figures, carefully reviewed the manuscripts and decided to publish 9 of the works as books.

- 2. "Үркер ауып барады" (poems) – Zulkaphil Maulitululy (Mongolia);
- 3. "Тәжікстандағы қазақтар" (historical and informative work) – Abdusattar Nuraliyev (Tajikistan);
- 4. "Ақиқаттың дәмі ащы" (poems) – Zharaskan Myrzamuratuly (Uzbekistan);
- 5. "Кімді кінәларсың..." (novellas and stories) – Erbakyt Nusipuly (Mongolia);
- 6. "Ұрпағың үзілмесін" (stories) – Mukhtasirov Pioneer Soltanovich (Russia);
- 7. "Қарасу жырлары" (poems) – Lala Zhunisqyzy Zhumanova (Uzbekistan);
- 8. "Өрікті қол" (novella, stories) – Eleusiz Mukhamadiuly (Mongolia);
- 9. "Айтағалы салт атты" (works) – Baman Kurmankhanuly (Mongolia).

- The goal of the competition is to introduce national history and culture from a new perspective by publishing works of well-known Kazakhstani and foreign poets, writers, scholars, and artists, to widely introduce the names and works of renowned ethnic Kazakhs living abroad to the Kazakhstani public, as well as to strengthen the interest of the younger generation in our history and culture, and to revive national consciousness.
