As part of the working visit of the President of the Found to Moscow, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation, a meeting was held on May 22 with the participation of activists of the Kazakh diaspora in Russia.
About 50 of our compatriots from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Omsk and Yekaterinburg took part in the event. Among them are the heads of Kazakh cultural centers, public activists, representatives of the intellectuals and youth organizations.
During the meeting, D. Kadyrov noted:
"I am sincerely glad that I met you in Moscow. Kazakhstan's relations with the Russian Federation have been historically established for a long time. The Otandastar Found will contribute to strengthening friendship between the two countries in the cultural and humanitarian field. At the same time, the Kazakh diaspora in Russia is of great importance. We are ready to work officially and openly with every organization regarding the Kazakh diaspora in Russia."
The participants of the meeting were able not only to get acquainted with the new head of the company, but also to express their thoughts, suggestions and wishes.

Among the compatriots, topical issues were discussed like studying the Kazakh language, developing national culture, adhering to traditions, and preserving national identity, deficit of textbooks in the Kazakh language, summer camps for kazakh children, and educational kazakh literature. Proposals were also made to expand the range of activities of the Otandastar Found, increase the number of referrals to the summer camp organized by the Found, organizing offline Kazakh language clubs, and conduct research related to the Kazakh diaspora abroad.
