The Embassy of Kazakhstan in the capital of Iran, Tehran, organized a festive event to celebrate Nauryz and Unity Day on May 1, as well as the opening ceremony of the national corner “Shanyrak”.

The new Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Iran, Mr. Onalbayev Ontalap made a speech at the festive event. He dwelt on the trade and economic ties between Kazakhstan and Iran, reported on a number of international online events due to the flooding in Kazakhstan, as well as providing full assistance to all flood victims. The Ambassador emphasized the features of the new format of celebrating Nauryz, called “Nauryznama”, and announced the opening of a permanent national corner “Shanyrak” dedicated to Kazakh traditions, customs and handicrafts in the building of the Embassy of Kazakhstan.

 

During the festive event, Kazakh songs were played, cues were played, and dances were danced. National games were organized and a festive dinner was served.
