Kandas dance groups from Mongolia won an International Competition

  • In a bid to foster cultural exchange and support talented youth, the international dance competition "Flowers of Kazakhstan – 2024" took place on February 18th in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event, organized by the Dance Sport Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, gathered over 800 participants from around the globe, including prominent representatives of the ethnic Kazakhs from the Bayan-Ölgii region of Mongolia.

  • Among the competitors, four groups from Mongolia attracted special attention, earning the highest awards for their skill and artistry. Their performances were highly praised by the jury and recognized with letters of appreciation and commemorative medals, affirming the high level of preparation and talent of the participants.

  • Aynur Yurayevna, the leader of the dance circle from Bayan-Ölgii, expressed gratitude to the organizers for the warm reception and excellent organization of the event.

"This was our first visit to Astana, and we are sincerely delighted by the opportunity to present our culture at such a prestigious level. We are impressed by the hospitality and support provided to us and look forward to participating in similar events in the future," said Aynur Yurayevna.

  • During their visit to the capital of Kazakhstan, participants also visited significant cultural and historical sites, including the monument "Bayterek", EXPO-2017 exhibition and the Future Energy Museum NUR ALEM, as well as the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These encounters not only enriched the participants with new knowledge about Kazakhstan but also contributed to strengthening intercultural ties.

  • The cultural program concluded with a meeting with Abzal Saparbekuly, President of the Otandastar Qory, who congratulated the young dancers on their successful performance and presented them with books in the Kazakh language and the National Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He expressed hope for their continued participation in the country's cultural life and wished them further creative success.
